About Ada
The fact that a seemingly small action could set off a huge change in someone else’s life motivated Ada to enter the field of social impact. As a part of the Philanthropic Initiatives team at WestBridge, she is excited at the prospect of optimizing the power and potential of the private sector to create a more equal world for all.
Ada’s career began with a stint as a high-school teacher in a low-income public school. She has since worked with local social enterprises, and national and international NGOs across the cross-section of design, delivery, and evaluation. Her experience with diverse organizations has equipped her with an intersectional perspective in solving development challenges related to education, gender, public health, and child protection.
Ada holds a bachelor’s degree from Lady Shri Ram College. She is also a Chevening Scholar with a master’s degree in development studies from the Institute of Development Studies, United Kingdom, where she specialized in gender and impact evaluation.
