About Aman (Kai)

Kai focuses on software investments with an emphasis on security, HR, and AI infrastructure & apps. His interest in software started with a childhood spent playing too many video games and making 3D models of his favorite characters on Blender.

Before WestBridge, Kai worked on the Azure mobile app and launched Azure’s mobile cost management experience. He also established the app's push notifications strategy to augment engagement. His experience at Azure taught him the value of solving for distribution in addition to product quality.

Prior to his Azure experience, Kai was a product manager in Microsoft's Devices division and worked on projects to optimize Microsoft's hardware supply chain. Kai got his professional start at SAP Research working on computer vision for document processing.

Kai studied electrical engineering and computer science at UC Berkeley, where he enjoyed competing in robotics competitions and teaching. When not talking to founders, Kai is usually at a CrossFit gym or reading historical biographies – ask him about his favorites!
