About Navneet

Navneet takes inspiration from the people who have the audacity and the ability to change the world. He believes that a tinge of craziness is necessary to muster both the audacity and the ability to change the world. Navneet is an Analyst at WestBridge Capital, Bengaluru. He is involved in efforts to learn and partner with fintech companies and constantly seeking to learn.

A true blue Mumbaikar, Navneet is a Chartered Accountant and has completed all three levels of the CFA Program. He embarked on his career with Credit Suisse, as a part of their India Investment Banking team. His role included advising technology and internet companies on M&A and capital market transactions. During his stint at Credit Suisse, he was involved in multiple marquee transactions including the ground-breaking US$1.2 billion Zomato IPO – the very first new-age tech company to get listed in India. Before joining WestBridge, Navneet was an Analyst at L Catterton, where he specialized in growth and late-stage investments.

Navneet is passionate about the role of fintech in the fast-growing Indian economy and believes that it will play a pivotal role in the India growth story by democratizing access to credit. Besides fintech, his interests extend to the consumer space as well.

In his free time, Navneet alternates between following the cricket pitch and plotting his moves on the chess board. He also occasionally tries his hand at racquet sports.
