About Uday

Uday Shinghal finds it extremely rewarding to work with the smartest people in the Indian tech ecosystem and is involved in efforts to learn and partner with consumer-tech companies. He believes in using empathy and technology to solve the world’s problems at scale.

Born and brought up in Bareilly, Uday joined IIT Roorkee to study Biotechnological Engineering. He started his professional career with Flipkart building technology products across insurance and procurement management systems.

Uday has volunteered with the social entrepreneurship organization Ashoka, and likes to spend his free time reading books, cooking, playing poker and chess, and watching cricket and Formula One racing.
