About Anand
As is evident from Anand’s work philosophy, a thirst for knowledge and learning drives him. He is an Investment Analyst at WestBridge Capital, with a focus on financial services and fintech.
His keen interest in business led to him to the arena of management consulting. Before joining us at WestBridge, he was a consultant at Bain & Company. Here, he added to the span of his domain expertise by working with clients across the sectors of logistics, healthcare, building materials and CPG brands. He also had the privilege of advising one of India's largest conglomerates on their new-age businesses.
His repertoire includes short stints such a business role at Venwiz, an early-stage start-up; a technology and quantitative analysis innings at Goldman Sachs; and an AI research project at the University of Sydney, Australia.
Hailing from Bhopal, Anand holds dear the timeless values of curiosity, humility, and dedication to his craft. He completed a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. On campus, he engaged in debates and lead cultural initiatives.
He enjoys being among people and lets his hair down by socializing and playing poker. His solitary pursuits though are reading and listening to music and his favourite podcasts.
