About Avani

Avani works in the finance and tax group and is also actively involved in compliance, IT and HR functions. Born and brought up in a small town from Gujarat, Avani moved to Mumbai to study commerce and became the first female chartered accountant from her hometown.

She started her professional career in 2007 with Morgan Stanley Fund Services, Mumbai in the Fund Accounting team and was involved with the launch of their Financial Reporting team for their Hedge Funds and Fund of Funds clients. She then moved to Silicon Valley and joined Ernst & Young LLP Asset Management Audit team in San Francisco.

Since she was a child she’s always been possessed by a strong curiosity and desire for knowledge. She enjoyed learning Mutual Funds business from her dad and banking from her mom while growing up. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, swimming and hosting friends and family.
