About Karan

Karan is a Senior Analyst at WestBridge Capital and is based out of the Bengaluru office. He works closely with consumer-focused and consumer technology companies. He strongly believes in the power of disruption and seeks to learn from new and disruptive business ideas. Consumer technology, the consumer space, the retail arena, and health technology are some of the things that make him tick.

Karan is of the firm opinion that new age entrepreneurs and technology are going to pave the way for India’s incredible growth story. A Mumbaikar through and through, he is a Chartered Accountant and holds a master’s degree in business administration from IIM, Ahmedabad. He started his professional journey with Pidilite Industries as a part of their Young Talent Management Program and was responsible for their cost saving initiatives, supply chain management, forecasting, and pricing strategy.

When not following path-breaking business innovations, Karan believes in disrupting the cricket field! He not only watches but plays cricket as well. A movie buff, avid gamer and people person, he also enjoys hanging out with his friends.
