About Mithun
Mithun manages Information Technology at WestBridge Capital and works out of the Bengaluru office. Before hopping aboard WestBridge, his career path took him to Wipro, the Future Group, Reliance Industries, Falabella and IBO. Across his stints, he has handled diverse responsibilities in the IT vertical including setting up processes for IT Streamlining; Program Management; Vendor Management; Critical Incident Management; IT Budgeting, Planning, and Implementation; IT Support; IT Compliance; IT Security; and Technological Research and Development.
Mithun is the quintessential Bengaluru boy, born, brought up and educated in the Garden City. He holds a technical diploma degree from SCT Polytechnic College, affiliated to Bangalore University and a bachelor’s degree in computer application from ICFAI University.
A people’s person, he is particularly grateful for his pragmatic and fun-loving bunch of friends and his family. Outside of work, he packs quite a punch with his interests. He is a professional trained pugilist who competes in the middle, cruiser, and heavy-weight categories. He is also a state-level footballer and district-level volleyball player. Archaeology and architecture appeal to his aesthetics, while Mithun indulges his dark side with an interest in macabre trivia!
