About Praneet

Praneet focuses on partnering with companies in the financial services and fintech sectors, working closely with founders and learning alongside them as they build and scale their businesses.

Prior to joining WestBridge, Praneet worked at Bain & Company as a Consultant, advising e-commerce and consumer technology clients on strategy and the development of sustainable digital ecosystems. Earlier in his career, he was part of the e-commerce team at Paytm and contributed to the company’s fundraising efforts, including its investment from Alibaba Group. He also co-founded WeSkill, an edtech startup that built a digital learning platform to nurture creative and analytical pursuits such as dance, music, and chess among young children.

Praneet holds a B.Tech. in Production and Industrial Engineering from IIT Delhi and an M.B.A. from IIM Ahmedabad, where he also co-founded a student-led impact investment initiative to support social entrepreneurs. Originally from Ghaziabad, he is passionate about technology, startups, and education. Outside of work, Praneet enjoys traveling, playing squash, and following Formula 1.
