About Shruti

Shruti’s philosophy lies in discovering simple answers to big questions! Her areas of interest are Private Equity, Hedge Funds, and Venture Capital.

She is a Senior Finance Manager at WestBridge Capital and is based out of the San Mateo office. Part of what drew her to WestBridge was the opportunity to join a team contributing to the growth and success of Indian startups in making a positive difference around the world.

Shruti grew up in Rourkela, Odisha, and moved to the US after she found Mr Right. She holds CPA certification and is a Chartered Accountant.

Preceding her WestBridge journey, she worked at Longitude Capital, Frazier Healthcare Partners, and Columbia Pacific, where she managed life sciences and real estate funds. She also briefly volunteered for FSC-PS Charitable Foundation during her time in Seattle, Washington. Before moving to the States, she worked for Vedanta Ltd. and earned the ‘Star of Business’ title during her tenure there.

When not crunching numbers at WestBridge, Shruti can be found exploring new places with her family, trying recipes, singing, and dancing. She also loves binge-watching her favorite shows that include Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, and Dark to name a few. She’d like you to know she’s always open to recommendations that’ll help expand her viewing list!
