About Achal

Achal Singi is involved in building the software investment thesis and partnering with founders to make it a reality. He’s excited to see how application software is implemented across businesses, and innovation in infrastructure software to support this technology-focused era. Born and brought up in Mumbai, Achal studied economics and business administration at UC Berkeley, where he dabbled with learning computer science and building the school’s Formula One racing cars.

He started his professional career with Bain & Company, helping build their growth equity practice for crossover and growth stage funds, and discovered his passion for the software businesses.

Achal spends his free time cycling, hiking, playing chess, watching Formula One racing, and reading.
