About Anand

Anand is an Investment Associate at WestBridge Capital, Bangalore, focused on Consumer Retail and Consumer Tech investments. He is drawn to founders reimagining everyday life for the masses - backing and building consumer businesses that look obvious in hindsight but take conviction to bet on.

An engineer by training, Anand graduated from IIT Madras (top three in his batch) with a specialisation in Economics. He co-founded a socio-entrepreneurial venture during his time at IIT Madras that got recognised by the United Nations Millennium Fellowship and other national media.

Prior to WestBridge, he was part of the founding team at an early-stage roll-up commerce startup and later spent time at Elevation Capital, where he focused on early-stage consumer and deep tech investments.

Outside work, Anand enjoys street photography, and exploring geopolitics and world history.
