About Apurva
Apurva Rai is involved in managing and assisting with investment and exit transactions. He enjoys working on complex and interesting problems and being a trusted counsel and advisor to businesses.
He graduated from the National Law School, Bengaluru in 2008 and joined the law firm of Amarchand & Mangaldas in its securities practice, transitioning to the firm's private equity and M&A practice. Prior to joining WestBridge, he was a partner at Shardul Amarchand.
He has also worked at Sequoia Capital India as a legal counsel. During a six-month sabbatical with a live entertainment company, Apurva was part of the team that organized the Indian tours of KORN and Guns N’ Roses.
Apurva spends his free time cycling, cooking, watching test cricket and Arsenal FC, and playing with his dogs.
