About Lakshay
Lakshay Manchanda is Head of Corporate Development at WestBridge Capital, based out of Bangalore. He partners with founders and leadership teams across the portfolio at pivotal stages of growth - including IPO readiness, fundraising, and M&A - bringing deep expertise in capital markets and strategic transactions.
Prior to joining WestBridge, Lakshay served as Head of Strategic Development at Alpha Wave Global, where he led portfolio-wide capital markets and M&A initiatives and played a key role in sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities. Earlier in his career, Lakshay worked in investment banking across India and Europe, advising on over $30 billion of M&A and capital markets transactions across technology, financial services, consumer, and other sectors.
Lakshay holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Honours) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi. Outside of work, Lakshay enjoys an active lifestyle and plays cricket, squash, and badminton.
