He is an acknowledged domain expert in the Indian financial services industry, operating across several companies in the sector, serving as advisor, board member, and investor. Mr. Nair is currently the non-executive Chairman at KFin Technologies Limited, India’s largest registrar and a market leader in investor servicing. He also advises select private equity and venture-backed companies such as Perfios, Propelld, Credgenics, Progcap, and New Street Technologies.
In his management avatar, he has held key positions in several well-known financial institutions and governing bodies, including that of Chairman at the TransUnion Credit Information Bureau of India Limited (better known as CIBIL, India’s largest credit bureau), SWIFT India Domestic Services Private Limited and the Indian Banks Association. While at Union Bank of India and Dena Bank, he was both Chairman and Managing Director.
Mr. Nair serves as a member of Advisory Committees of IBBI (Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India) and IFSCA (International Financial Services Centres Authority) in areas pertaining to banking and financial services.
