About Soo
Soo is Head of Marketing at WestBridge Capital, based out of Silicon Valley. She spearheads WestBridge's external brand, content, events and communications strategy, in addition to working with the portfolio companies to extend their impact and story.
Prior to WestBridge, Soo was the Head of Marketing at WiL (World Innovation Lab), a US and Japan growth stage SaaS fund, where she built their marketing program and launched their owned events program. Prior to venture, she was an operator at Twitter (X) under the Global SMB Marketing team, where she developed an in-house testing program as the team's first Growth Marketing lead. Soo was in NYC for the early part of her career — leading custom content partnerships and brand marketing channels at Squarespace pre-IPO and specializing in OOH, display, and audio advertising. She previously advised e-commerce and lead gen clients at a Series B startup called BounceX (now Wunderkind).
Soo was born in Seoul, South Korea and raised in the Bay Area with a brief stint in Hong Kong. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business. In her free time, Soo enjoys pilates, weightlifting and trying to perfect a sourdough recipe, most recently picking up pickleball with friends and golf with her husband.
