About Moumita
Moumita Mukherjee is a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition at WestBridge Capital, based in Bangalore. She brings over a decade of experience in executive and leadership hiring across technology, consumer, and industrial sectors, with a strong track record of building high-performing teams and advising on senior leadership talent.
Moumita began her career at Amazon in 2012 as part of the founding Executive Hiring team in India, where she helped establish the Amazon India Leadership Team and spent six years hiring Directors and Vice Presidents across business verticals nationwide. She went on to join Egon Zehnder, focusing on C-suite hiring within the Industrial Practice Group, and later Korn Ferry, where she specialized in technology leadership recruitment. Most recently, she led a 50-member talent acquisition team at Scaler Academy (InterviewBit), driving B2B and technology hiring across fresher and mid-level roles.
Moumita holds a degree in Microbiology with distinction from Jyoti Nivas College and an MBA in Human Resources from the Ramaiah Institute of Management Studies in Bangalore.
Outside of work, Moumita is a passionate solo traveler and photographer, with more than 20 trips across India, Europe, the US, and Asia. She is also an abstract painter, an avid reader of fiction and poetry, and a theatre enthusiast.
