About Rakshit

Rakshit Daga is an Operating Advisor at WestBridge Capital, based in Bangalore. In this role, he partners with portfolio companies in the consumer sector, advising them on product, technology, and operational strategies. Rakshit brings deep expertise in scaling businesses, building high-performing teams, and solving complex problems with elegance.

Previously, Rakshit was the Chief Product and Technology Officer at BigBasket, where he helped pioneer innovations in supply chain, e-commerce, and consumer technology at scale. Earlier in his career, he was the Founder & CEO of Qurater, a SaaS startup focused on text mining and analytics. He spent the first decade of his career in the San Francisco Bay Area and held leadership roles at SAP in Palo Alto across Corporate Strategy, Labs, and Global Marketing along with stints at a SAAS startup and at a boutique EBiz consulting org.

Rakshit holds a Master’s Degree in Design and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a BE from MS University of Baroda.

Outside of work, Rakshit is an avid squash and badminton player, and enjoys poker, chess, and puzzles. He lives in Bangalore with his wife Pooja and their two children, Myra and Neil, both nationally ranked junior squash players.
