About Tirthankar

Tirthankar is an Associate at WestBridge Capital, based out of the Bengaluru office. He enjoys deep diving into problem areas and coming up with creative solutions. His areas of interest are the verticals of SaaS, Enterprise Technology, and Developer Tools. At WestBridge he is part of the Saas investment team which allows him to interact closely with like-minded founders, who share a common passion for problem solving.

Tirthankar completed his bachelor’s degree in computer science from the Hyderabad campus of BITS, Pilani. He then joined Amazon where he developed software for Alexa-enabled devices such as the Echo Show and Echo Spot.

After his Amazon stint, he completed his MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, where he majored in Marketing and Information Technology Management. His recent work experience includes conceptualizing, executing, and then publicly launching two new product lines at Postman in the form of API governance and API security.

Tirthankar is a self-confessed gearhead and an ardent Formula 1 fan! He utilizes his time away from work to keep a healthy exercise regimen, and spend quality time with family.
