About Kamal
Kamal Singh strongly believes that data and technology will be the key pillars that will transform the way new businesses will be built. He started his career as a consultant with the marketing analytics consulting team at Accenture. He later worked as an investment banking analyst at The Chesapeake Group, a mid-market M&A advisory firm focused on technology companies operating in the US-India corridor. Prior to joining WestBridge, he worked as a tech-focused investment banking associate at Evercore Partners covering companies in application software, SaaS, adtech, and cyber security verticals. During his time at Evercore, Kamal worked on several key transactions, including the sale of Thycotic Software, a cloud based privileged access management (PAM) solutions provider, to TPG for ~$1.4B.
Kamal received his bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and his MBA from Columbia Business School. In his free time, he can be found playing cricket in semi-professional leagues in the Bay Area or playing tennis in USTA tournaments.
